72,837 Details Numbers matching, L82/355 engine, M21 close ratio 4 speed manual transmission, 72,837 original miles, red cloth interior, alloy wheels, tilt and tele steering column, sport mirrors, power windows, R134 A/C, power steering, power brakes, original radio, original valve covers, dual exhaust, and much more.
We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis.
We also replaced both trailing arm bushings, strut rod bushings, leaf spring bushings, power steering pump, 2 rear brake hoses, rear shocks, fan clutch, complete carpet set, and much more.
The last owner redid the front suspension with new upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, sway bar links, and much more.
He also had the original engine rebuilt July of 2020 at a cost of almost $5,000.
He installed Comp Cam 12-677-4, Eagle connecting rods, Summit Racing harmonic balancer, Comp Cam timing set, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor,.

This corvette sounds awesome and runs and drives really strong thanks to all of the upgrades done by the last owner and ourselves.
This corvette was originally sold new by a dealer in Naples, Italy.
It is one of the first 120 corvettes built in 1978.
GM produced 47,000 Corvettes in the 1978 (25th anniversary) model year.
Out of the 47,000 produced, 12,739 were produced with the L82 package, and only 8,162 came with the 4 speed transmission.
